The great thing about this country which derives and does draw Tanzania’s diverse attractions is of course its people, who take justifiable pride in their deeply entrenched national mood of tolerance and peacefulness. Undeniably, Tanzania with all of its ethnic diversity (the tribe of more than 120) is practically unique in Africa in having navigated a succession of modern political hurdles – the transformation from colonial dependency to an independent nation, from socialist state to free-market economy, from a single part to fully-fledged democracy – without ever experiencing sustained civil or ethnic unrest.
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), our representative will meet you and transfer you to Arusha for the night.
After breakfast, depart Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park for a full-day game-viewing drive. Tarangire is famous for its large elephant herds, beautiful baobab trees, and diverse wildlife. Enjoy a picnic lunch during the safari before continuing with your game drive. In the late afternoon, leave the park and drive to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, drive towards Serengeti National Park, enjoying scenic views and wildlife along the way. Upon entering Serengeti, begin your game-viewing drive toward the central Serengeti. In the late afternoon, continue to your accommodation in the Seronera area for dinner and overnight. Serengeti is renowned for its abundant wildlife and the annual Great Migration.
Wake up early for a morning game drive in Serengeti, giving your family another opportunity to see wildlife during the active morning hours. After the game drive, continue your journey towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, with game viewing en route. Arrive at your camp in the late afternoon, followed by dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a spectacular game-viewing drive. The crater is one of Tanzania’s most remarkable wildlife areas and is commonly combined with Serengeti on Northern Circuit safaris. Enjoy a picnic lunch during the crater tour before ascending in the afternoon. Continue driving back to Arusha or Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) for your onward journey.
